During my time at Saint Mary’s College of California, I had the privilege of studying abroad for five whole months in Seville, Spain. Now I know Spain is known for its tapas, but one thing I learned a greater appreciation for was good wine. Spanish wine now runs through my veins and for hose five months of endless glasses of red I am forever grateful. My admiration for wine did not stop when I got back to the united states, but my wallet and my unknowing of what to buy at the right price has gotten in the way. But do not you worry reader I have done extensive research on the subject and found a few ways for you to learn about and drink cheap, good wine. Although I love wine, I do have to say I am very uneducated when it comes to what the grapes should taste like and how to know if a wine is even good. In efforts to learn about wine that cost more than three euros, I went online. I found the cheapest wine and beer tasting in my area is at Total Wines. They offer a variety of testings from beer, to wine, to spirits for as cheap as $20. Naturally I went to this wine tasting FOR ONLY $20, and the experience was amazing. I got to taste a variety of wines, red and white, and the instructor gave advice on each pour. The experience was a 10/10 and would recommend the Total Wines tasting to anyone who wants to be educated about wine, beer, and spirits. I did get some amazing recommendations from my instructor for wines that are great and under $15.
