My usual mornings consist of me waking up at 630am, lay in bed and question if I need to going to work or school and then hitting snooze until I have barely enough time to brush my teeth, make a cup of coffee and head out the door. This makes making breakfast the last thing on my mind in the mornings. Because of this terrible quality I have in the morning I tend to premake breakfast that support my hectic morning lifestyle. Some of my favorite things to make in the morning are chia seed pudding, overnight oats and egg quiches. All of these items can be made the night before and easy grab and go foods. What even better about these breakfast items is that they are so easy to make and portable. Now trust me maybe I should get in the habit of waking up earlier so I can make the American breakfast I want so bad in the morning, but until sleep does not become my number one priority quick easy breakfasts are my go-to.

Chia seed pudding

½ a cup of chia seeds

1 cup of milk (I prefer coconut milk because it has the most fat)

½ a teaspoon of cinnamon (feel free to add other spices or cocoa powder)

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

Mix all the ingredients in a mason jar or another container

Leave the jar in the fridge over night

Once congealed feel free to add fruit

Enjoy!

Over-night oats

1 cup of rolled oats

¼ of a cup of chia seeds

1 scoop of vanilla protein powder

1 scoop of wheat grass powder

A little maple syrup to taste

Add raspberries

Instructions

Add all the ingredients into a mason jar

Shake until ingredients are completely mixed

Put into the fridge

Wait 24 hours until thick

Enjoy!
